Dr. Brad Ferguson completed his Bachelor of Science degree at Saint Francis Xavier University in 2008. He then graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto, Ontario, with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2012, achieving cum laude and clinic honours designations. Dr. Ferguson furthered his education by completing the Sports Sciences Residency Program at CMCC, becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences (Canada), one of only a handful in Atlantic Canada.
Dr. Ferguson is also a certified Medical Acupuncture Provider, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, and a Red Cross Emergency First Responder. He has completed over 3,000 on-field hours with various sports and has been part of medical teams for the Pan Am Games, Nova Scotia Weightlifting Association, U SPORTS, World Beach Volleyball, North American Indigenous Games, and many more. He is also the team trainer for the East Hants Senior Penguins Hockey Club.
Dr. Ferguson’s approach to care involves treating each patient as a unique individual. Using a variety of treatment methods-including manual therapy, acupuncture, exercise prescription, and patient education-he combines the latest evidence with clinical expertise to create individualized care plans that address each patient’s health concerns.
In his spare time, he enjoys staying active through hockey, golf, weight training, and running. He is a proud husband and father of twochildren, Norah and Beau. He has proudly called East Hants home since 2015 and values being involved in community events and giving back.
